Our three-person team, consisting of editor, cameraman and sound assistant, was able to accompany a very special event on Mein Schiff 6 in Hamburg. Our task was to document the christening ceremony in front of the Elbphilharmonie as well as the subsequent christening voyage from Hamburg to Kiel. The objective was to create a 2½-minute film from various original sounds and atmospheric cutaways. The final film was to be available as soon as the ship arrived in Kiel. This was possible because, with the help of our mobile technology, we transformed a cabin into an editing suite so that we could edit and finalize the project directly on site.
